안녕하세요, 졸업 후 약 1년정도 취준을 하고 있는 취준생입니다. 전공은 생명과학이고, 교육은 작년부터 꾸준히 들어 100시간 정도 들었습니다. (올해 종사자교육40시간 포함)
취업을 준비하고 정말 많은 곳에 지원을 했고(의료기기, 건기식 빼고는 다 넣었습니다), 총 4곳의 면접을 봤지만 결국 불합격했습니다. (로컬cro 2곳, 병원 1곳, 외자사 1곳)
재직자분들에게 여쭤보면 스펙은 충분하고 운이 없을 뿐이다 말씀하시니, 어떻게 취준의 방향성을 잡아야할지 궁금합니다...

면접 때 가장 답하기 어려운 혹은 이 대답을 했을 때 조금 싸한 질문 답변이 있었을까요...? 재직자들보단 가면 갈수록 들어가는게 어려운것같긴합니다..
가장 답하기 어려웠던 질문은 ‘간호 전공자도 많은데, 왜 굳이 비간호 전공을 뽑아야하는가?’ 였습니다... 당시 면접자 중에 저만 비간호 전공이었거든요. 의학용어를 공부한 것과 메디컬 차트 봤던 경험을 이야기하며, 잘할 수 있다 이야기는 했습니다. 하지만 그들보다 뭐가 나은지 왜 나를 뽑아야하는지 어필이 부족했던 것 같습니다.
그리고 다른 직무도 채용 중에 있는데, cra 말고 다른 직무를 해볼 생각은 있는가? 도 대답하기 어려웠습니다. Cra가 하고 싶어 계속 준비해왔고, 될 때까지 계속 도전할 것이다라고 답변하긴 했습니다...
세미나를 하며 많은 분들이 같은 질문을 주십니다.
"간호학이 아닌 비전공자인데 잘 할 수 있을까요?"
이 질문에 대한 제 개인적인 견해는 잘할 수 있다 입니다.
다만 간호학을 전공한 사람과 전공하지 않은 사람은 차이가 있지요.
그 차이를 이야기하지 못 하는 순간 오만 혹은 무지가 섞인 답변을 하게 된다고 생각합니다.
간호학을 전공한 사람이 남들보다 차트리딩 + 의학지식은 더 잘합니다.
그걸 부정할 순 없어요 사실이니까요. 하지만 그러한 사실과 별개로. 저는 작성자님이 가지고 있는 장점이 있을 것이라 생각합니다.
CRA로 일을 하며 의학적 지식, 차트 리딩이 중요하다고 생각하지만, 그것만 잘 하는 사람은 훌륭한 CRA가 아닙니다.
저 질문은 우문이고 여러 편견속에서 작성자님께서는 스스로 현명한 답을 찾으셔야 합니다.
답변을 준비하는데 스스로가 중요한 이유는 누군가 대신 해준 말은 그 사람을 표현하는 말이 되기 때문이죠.
작성자님은 잠시 한발 뒤로 물러서서 준비할 시간이 필요해보입니다. 여러 면접의 압박에서 벗어나 잠시 자신을 돌아보고 자신의 장점을 찾아보세요.
가장 팔고 싶은 장점은 한가지면 충분합니다. 본인의 장점이 준비된다면 "간호 전공자도 많은데 왜 굳이 비간호 전공을 뽑아야하는가?" 같은 질문은 우습게 들리시게 될겁니다.
